Colorado Car Donation — Free Pickup for Veterans
Statewide Colorado pickup at no cost, and every donation is tax-deductible.
A vehicle you no longer drive can do real work for veterans in Colorado. Veterans Car Donation arranges free pickup across the state — from Denver, Colorado Springs, Aurora and Fort Collins to the small towns in between — and turns the vehicle into support for Veterans Care Charity.
There is no charge for towing, no repair required before pickup, and no obligation after you fill out the form.

Veterans Care Charity and your Colorado donation
Veterans Car Donation is the vehicle-donation program of Veterans Care Charity, a registered 501(c)(3) nonprofit established in 2012 and based in Las Vegas, NV.
Proceeds from vehicles donated in Colorado support the charity's outreach for homeless and struggling veterans — meals, warm clothing and shelter assistance.
"Veterans Care Charity is committed to improving the lives of our American heroes, the Veterans. Through outreach and advocacy, we can make a difference."
How donating a car in Colorado works
From the first form to the final paperwork, a Colorado donation moves in three steps.
- Tell us about the vehicle — the short form takes about 60 seconds, or call (855) 681-1155 and a coordinator will take the details by phone.
- Schedule free pickup — a coordinator calls to arrange towing at a time that suits you, wherever the vehicle sits in Colorado.
- Receive your paperwork — you get a donation receipt at pickup, plus IRS Form 1098-C if the vehicle sells for more than $500.
Vehicles accepted from Colorado donors
Cars, trucks, SUVs, vans, motorcycles, RVs and boats are all accepted from Colorado — any make, any model, any condition.
You do not need to repair, clean or tow anything yourself. Tell us the condition as it is and the pickup is arranged around it.
Free towing throughout Colorado
Towing is always free. A licensed operator comes to your home, workplace or storage lot in Colorado at a time you agree on.
Coordinators cover Colorado and the surrounding area, including Denver, Colorado Springs and Aurora.
Paperwork and tax deduction in Colorado
Your vehicle donation is tax-deductible to the fullest extent allowed by law. Veterans Care Charity is a registered 501(c)(3) nonprofit. You will receive a donation receipt, and IRS Form 1098-C if your vehicle sells for more than $500. Please consult your tax advisor regarding your specific deduction.
The receipt you get at pickup is your first piece of documentation. If the vehicle sells above $500, Form 1098-C shows the gross sale amount for your return.
