Connecticut Vehicle Donation
Donate a Car in Connecticut and Support Veterans
Free towing anywhere in Connecticut. Running or not. 100% tax-deductible.
Connecticut donors give vehicles in every condition, and every one of them helps. Free towing reaches Bridgeport, New Haven, Hartford and Stamford and the rest of the state, and each donation supports Veterans Care Charity's work with veterans.
You never pay for the tow, never need to fix the vehicle first, and are never committed until you say yes on the phone.

Where a Connecticut donation goes
Veterans Car Donation is the vehicle-donation program of Veterans Care Charity, a registered 501(c)(3) nonprofit established in 2012 and based in Las Vegas, NV.
A vehicle you no longer need becomes practical help: food, warm clothing and shelter support for veterans, funded by donations like the ones we collect in Connecticut.
"Veterans Care Charity is committed to improving the lives of our American heroes, the Veterans. Through outreach and advocacy, we can make a difference."
Your Connecticut donation is tax-deductible
Your vehicle donation is tax-deductible to the fullest extent allowed by law. Veterans Care Charity is a registered 501(c)(3) nonprofit. You will receive a donation receipt, and IRS Form 1098-C if your vehicle sells for more than $500. Please consult your tax advisor regarding your specific deduction.
The receipt you get at pickup is your first piece of documentation. If the vehicle sells above $500, Form 1098-C shows the gross sale amount for your return.
Vehicles accepted from Connecticut donors
Cars, trucks, SUVs, vans, motorcycles, RVs and boats are all accepted from Connecticut — any make, any model, any condition.
Mechanical failure, missing parts and cosmetic damage are all common. Describe the vehicle honestly on the form and the coordinator will tell you exactly what to expect.
What the Connecticut donation process looks like
Nothing about the Connecticut process is complicated, and nothing costs you money.
- Tell us about the vehicle — the short form takes about 60 seconds, or call (855) 681-1155 and a coordinator will take the details by phone.
- Schedule free pickup — a coordinator calls to arrange towing at a time that suits you, wherever the vehicle sits in Connecticut.
- Receive your paperwork — you get a donation receipt at pickup, plus IRS Form 1098-C if the vehicle sells for more than $500.
