Towing is always free. A licensed operator comes to your home, workplace or storage lot in Florida at a time you agree on.

Running or not: what qualifies in Florida
Cars, trucks, SUVs, vans, motorcycles, RVs and boats are all accepted from Florida — any make, any model, any condition.
Mechanical failure, missing parts and cosmetic damage are all common. Describe the vehicle honestly on the form and the coordinator will tell you exactly what to expect.
Your Florida donation is tax-deductible
Your vehicle donation is tax-deductible to the fullest extent allowed by law. Veterans Care Charity is a registered 501(c)(3) nonprofit. You will receive a donation receipt, and IRS Form 1098-C if your vehicle sells for more than $500. Please consult your tax advisor regarding your specific deduction.
The receipt you get at pickup is your first piece of documentation. If the vehicle sells above $500, Form 1098-C shows the gross sale amount for your return.

Veterans Car Donation is the vehicle-donation program of Veterans Care Charity, a registered 501(c)(3) nonprofit established in 2012 and based in Las Vegas, NV.
Proceeds from vehicles donated in Florida support the charity's outreach for homeless and struggling veterans — meals, warm clothing and shelter assistance.

- Receive your paperwork — you get a donation receipt at pickup, plus IRS Form 1098-C if the vehicle sells for more than $500.
