• Receive your paperwork — you get a donation receipt at pickup, plus IRS Form 1098-C if the vehicle sells for more than $500.

Paperwork and tax deduction in Reno

Your vehicle donation is tax-deductible to the fullest extent allowed by law. Veterans Care Charity is a registered 501(c)(3) nonprofit. You will receive a donation receipt, and IRS Form 1098-C if your vehicle sells for more than $500. Please consult your tax advisor regarding your specific deduction.

Keep the receipt handed to you at pickup with your Reno tax records; Form 1098-C follows by mail when it applies.
